My Fitness Journey
My love for fitness started in high school, where running on the track and cross-country teams became my outlet - a way to disconnect, clear my mind, and challenge myself. In college, I walked onto the Division I Novice Rowing team at Robert Morris University, learning discipline, mental grit, and the power of pushing beyond limits.
Later, at West Virginia University, I discovered strength training. Lifting helped me feel powerful mentally, physically, and emotionally. I studied Health Promotion, Medical Humanities, and Nutrition & Foods, and interned in sports nutrition with WVU Athletics, working alongside collegiate athletes and performance staff.
I’ve also spent years in healthcare - first as an EMT and ER tech, and later in healthcare operations with a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration. This background gives me a deep understanding of how the body responds to stress and how movement, recovery, and mindset come together for lasting health.
Living with scoliosis, I know what it’s like to work through pain and limitations. I’ve learned to manage my back through core stability, mobility work, and smart, progressive strength training - and I bring that same care and attention to every client program.
